Reiki Training Coming to MYCC in 2026

Learn to Channel the Vital Energy of Reiki for Yourself and Others during Reiki Level 1 & 2 Training

MYCC is pleased to host Reiki Training at all levels this year, led by MYCC Yoga Instructor and Reiki Master Vilma Galindo. Sessions will be offered throughout the year during 2-day weekend sessions.

Each weekend session runs 8am-Noon both days. The first day includes the necessary instruction at the level of training, and the second day includes the attunement and hands-on practice supervised by a Reiki master.

Level 1 Reiki Training - Learn to channel Reiki for your own well-being - In this training, you will learn the foundations of Reiki, receive your initial Reiki attunement, and learn how to connect to Reiki to support your self and your own well-being.

Level 2 Reiki Training - Practitioner Training to channel Reiki in support of others - In this training, you will expand your understanding of Reiki, receive your second Reiki attunement, learn the traditional symbols and practices appropriate for practitioners, and learn the professional skills necessary to offer Reiki to others.

Level 3/4 Reiki Master Training - Learn the skills of mastery and lead others to become practitioners - In this training you will learn the skills and initiations required to teach reiki and train others in its use and practice.

The cost of training for each session of the Level 1 and 2 training weekends is $175 per session, and covers the cost of all instruction, individual mentorship, and class materials.

Upon completion of the training, participants will be issued a certificate indicating completion of the corresponding level of Reiki training.

Each training runs from 8am-Noon both days of the session.

You only need to complete ONE of the sessions at each level to complete training

In order to be eligible for Reiki Master Training (Level 3/4) you must complete both Level 1 and Level 2 training

About Your Lead Instructor

Vilma Galindo (Reiki Master and Multidisciplinary Healer)

“Do what you Love.” In 2004, after enjoying a successful but quite stressful career in Finance in New York City, Vilma discovered Yoga as a healing tool to find inner peace, happiness and wellbeing. Her path, like of her mentors, is one of a constant practice, self-exploration, and the desire to share the blessings of Yoga and Meditation. Vilma got certified as a Prana Yoga Teacher from the New York Open Center in 2010 and has taught both Yoga classes and Workshops at different locations all around the world.

Vilma’s passion for travel and learning has allowed her to discover Yoga and spirituality around the world. Her teaching style is inspirational, compassionate and engaging. It incorporates both physical and spiritual aspects to encourage self-awareness and self-observation both on and off the mat, allowing for the cultivation of happiness for yourself and those around you.

Sharing the Healing Blessings of Reiki

She is also a Reiki Master in the Usui Reiki lineage, and has shared the blessings of Reiki to many in her native Bogotá and in Aruba. Also, In 2012 Vilma traveled to India where she was initiated as a healer by Paramahamsa Nithyananda.

Vilma offers Quantum Vibrational Healing Sessions which is a blend of traditional Reiki combined with other healing techniques that she has learned throughout the years (tuning forks, aromatherapy and energy balancing).
