Yin Yoga Teacher Training Coming to MYCC Jan 17-20, 2025
Expand your Yoga teaching practice with education and training in Yin Yoga.
Participants will learn to teach Yin Yoga from a safe, functional, and adaptable approach in a small-group, high-touch experiential learning environment. Included in this Yin YTT will be instruction in:
- Origins and Principles of Yin Yoga
- Yin Yoga Anatomy with emphasis on soft and connective tissue
- Anatomy of breath, the nervous system, and the subtle energetic body
- Experiential Learning in 25+ Yin Yoga Postures
- Teaching Methods for Yin Yoga practice
- Use of props and support for adpating postures to all bodies.
- Teaching a live studio class and a virtual Yin Yoga Class
This course includes a virtual introduction the night prior to a 3-day intensive training at MY YOGA Community Center in Sierra Vista, AZ. The class finishes with a practicum where participants will complete teaching a virtual and a live studio class.
The cost of the YTT is $350 and covers the cost of all instruction, individual mentorship, and class materials.
Upon completion of the training, participants will be issued a certificate indicating completion of a Yin Yoga Teacher Training and will be eligible to receive credit for 45 Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Units (CEU).
Jan 17 - 6-9pm Virtual Introduction
Jan 18-20 - 8am-5pm daily intensive experiential learning at MYCC
TBD - Yin Yoga Student Live Teaching Day at MYCC.
MY YOGA Community Center is located in Sierra Vista, Arizona at 4641 S HWY 92 (next to Nirvana's Cup of Joe and Ruby's Divine Chocolate).
